The football tournament at the 2024 Summer Olympics will be held from 24 July to 10 August 2024 in France. Seven venues will host matches: * Parc des Princes, Paris * Stade de France, Saint-Denis * Stade Vélodrome, Marseille * Groupama Stadium, Lyon * Stade Matmut-Atlantique, Bordeaux * Allianz Riviera, Nice * Stade Geoffroy-Guichard, Saint-Étienne
Teams
Sixteen teams will compete in the men's tournament and twelve teams will compete in the women's tournament.
Men's tournament

Format
The tournament will be played in a single-elimination format. The top two teams from each group will advance to the quarter-finals.

Age restrictions
Players must be born on or after 1 January 2004 to be eligible to compete in the men's tournament. Players must be born on or after 1 January 2005 to be eligible to compete in the women's tournament.
