Despite a spirited performance from Everton, Chelsea maintained their undefeated streak with a hard-fought 2-2 draw in the Premier League. The match marked the ninth time the Blues have taken points from their opponents since their last defeat.
Chelsea started slowly, giving Everton several opportunities to take the lead in the early stages. Beto had a point-blank chance but failed to capitalize, much to the home crowd's dismay.
However, against the run of play, Chelsea seized control with a stunning first-half hat-trick from Cole Palmer. The young forward's clinical finishing gave the Blues a comfortable 3-0 advantage.
However, Everton refused to give up and fought back valiantly in the second half. Goals from Demarai Gray and Salomon Rondon brought the Toffees level, leaving Chelsea frustrated and with a bitter taste in their mouths.
Despite the setback, Chelsea's unbeaten run remains impressive, and they will look to extend it further when they face Brighton & Hove Albion in their next Premier League encounter.
